Fractional and Interim Integrators Leading and Managing teams of 3 - 30 people for visionaries

Integration for an online world - Enabling success, efficiency and resilience.

Most teams with 3 - 30 staff don't really need a full time Managing Director or CEO unless they are in a significant scaling up phase.  If you have:

  • the right people in the marketing and sales, operations, and finance and admin seats

  • the right framework and tools to enable them to succeed

  • then getting traction towards a shared vision just requires good a Integrator:

  • An Integrator ensures:

    • the right cadence of meeting pulse,

    • the right core processes are followed by all,

    • the right automation and data,

    • enabling the delegation, accountability, and decision throughout the organisation

    • to ensure everyone is aligned to take the appropriate action and accountability for the priorities of today, this week, and the next 90 days.

Integration is what we can do on a part time or interim basis for visionary leaders like you with a clear vision.

Are you a visionary owner or leader, running flat out?   Maybe you are a visionary, stuck in an integrator seat?  if so, maybe we could help?

Enabling your success, efficiency and resilience - a smooth running engine

Running a business can be like driving a car, or flying a helicopter. Most people get in their car and turn the key, knowing where they want to go, confident that the engine will run smoothly to help take them there.

You know what success means for your business - you know where you want to go. You know what customer experience you want to deliver.  You want your people, and the technology that automates many processes today, to work smoothly and efficiently, as your engine of success.

As fractional and interim integrators, we help ensure people and systems operate aligned to your goals, efficiently, and with resilience for the long term. Enabling your business to be even more successful, growing profitably now, and into the future for you and your team.

With the marketing, sales, operations, and finance leaders integrated and coordinated as a smooth running engine allows you to do what you do best on what you enjoy doing most.  Whether that is engaging with customers, staff, or the wider market.  We run the dashboard, the framework, and the tools - enabling you to navigate the challenges, and take advantage of business opportunities, when they occur.   With a smooth running engine powering you, efficient as possible, and as resilient as you wish, which you're able to steer and guide smoothly, without causing organisational whiplash.

Not every engine is the same.  For some people, cycling is fine.  For others, a basic 1 litre engine is fine, aligned with a simple chassis, suspension and 4 wheels, to get from A to B.  Perfect, and cheap.   For other people, a smooth, relatively powerful, straight 6 is the perfect balance, in. for example an E28 BMW M535.  For other people, in the modern era, an electric motor, an aero engine, or a rocket engine may be appropriate - it depends where you want to get to.

In a car, the engine is linked the chassis, suspension, tyres, dashboard, and driver.  You choose where you want to go, and whether you want to drive, or delegate the details to someone else.

Delivering your success, efficiency, and resilience:

  • We focus on your success, whatever success means to you.  It could be significant growth in revenue, profitability, staff satisfaction or efficiency.  Or just stability.  Each business is different, we understand you, and then align to support you.

  • We aim to optimise efficiency and resilience within your business.  However, there is a dynamic tension between efficiency and resilience, achieving maximum efficiency and maximum resilience, has a cost impact.  Therefore vision and how you execute strategy to get traction towards it is important:

    • Efficiency is really important to ensure that the money that customers pay for your products or services (your revenue) turns into profits.

    • Resilience is also important for long term success of the business and staff - if your people or systems are too efficient, then you may maximise profits in the short term, but may not be able to cope with challenges as they arise (which they will), and can lead to failure of either systems, processes, or staff.

    • The cost of achieving either is dependent upon the benefit - there's no point making a process efficient, or delegating it, if the cost of automating or delegation is more than the time spent doing it.  There is no point adding resilience, for a risk that the business can cope with anyway.

    • But spending money on efficiency or resilience can be like rocket fuel, if spent in the right places.

Having a clear view of what success looks like, helps guide the the right balance of efficiency and resilience, at an appropriate cost, to give the best chance of achieving that success.

We only work with visionaries that are clear on what success means to them, that we truly believe in that vision, and where we believe we can help the visionary and their team to gain traction towards that vision.  To assess yourself on the Visionary - Integrator scale, use the Rocket Fuel university Crystaliser Assessment.

If we believe and agree that there is a Visionary - Integrator fit, and a business fit, them we are delighted to work with visionaries and their teams. If you've completed the Visionary assessment and think you need an integrator, then please do contact us at info@isonline.co.uk
